IFEMA Madrid Circuit Details: 2026 F1 Season
Madrid's new F1 circuit is located around the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre in Barajas, 16 km from the city centre, with excellent transport links. It's split across IFEMA's existing exhibition site and the Valdebebas northern expansion area, near Real Madrid's training ground. Madrid will host the Spanish Grand Prix from 2026 to 2035.
IFEMA Madrid F1 Track: 2026 Season Layout and Features
The 5.474km, 20-turn layout is a hybrid of street and permanent circuit elements. Unique features include two short tunnel sections connecting track zones, and indoor pit and paddock facilities within IFEMA halls. Key sections to watch include a steep downhill run from Turn 7 to Turn 9, and Turn 10 which has potential for banking to create overtaking opportunities into Turns 11 and 12. The final design is subject to FIA homologation.
